“It shall be the mission of the Employees and Directors of the Lincoln County Animal Shelter and Humane Society to provide humane care, feeding and shelter for the strayed and abused animals that come under our care. Our main mission shall be towards serving the towns of Lincoln County, but in addition, our shelter shall be available for such animals brought to us through any source. We shall, to the best of our abilities, seek loving homes for animals in our charge. In addition we shall arrange for the transfer of injured wild creatures to appropriate shelters for care and subsequent release.”
