Kennel Sponsors

Kennel sponsors are special contributors who provide monthly funding for the hotel rooms of our displaced guests, the animals, while they are waiting for a permanent residence. Their funding covers crucial expenditures like blankets, beds, toys, and treats. Kennel Sponsor's names appear on the actual kennel itself at the shelter and one kennel can house many animals throughout the course of a year.

Dog Walkers / Cat Cuddlers

Got some extra time and like to get out of the house for a half hour? This could be the spot for you. Everyone could use a little excercise, why not share some of your excercise time with one of our canine friends? We will set you up with a dog that fits you and have plenty of walking space. These poor pups depend on our dog walkers for their needed excercise and would love to meet new people. Not much time? Even a short 'once a week visit' helps alot. Prefer something a little more 'low impact' or relaxing? Cuddle up with one of our warm feline friends and share some well-needed and well-deserved attention. These displaced cuddly creatures would love to share some time while waiting for their permanent companion.

Other Volunteers

We have many things that need to be done other than attention for the animals. There is laundry, cleaning, set up cages, wash windows, paint walls, fix cables on dog cages, repair cat crates, repair broken cabinets, and many other chores which need to be done. Some of our staff work very long hours in order to make sure all is done for the health, safety, and comfort of our animal guests. Your help could give a staff member a little more time with their family, or even a bit of a break.
